The people behind the practice.

Rumit has worked in General Dental practice for many years across North London and Hertfordshire, bringing a wealth of experience to UHP. He holds Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and enjoys endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, cosmetic and children's dentistry.

Previously a Clinical Tutor at Guy's Hospital in Restorative Dentistry, Rumit completed a postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics through King's College London and is tier 2 qualified in Endodontics (root canal treatments).

Years spent in the Community Dental service — treating children, elderly and special-needs patients — shaped his calming, thorough approach. He is exceptional with nervous patients and also provides snoring appliances, working with GPs and sleep specialists for sleep apnoea cases.

In his spare time he enjoys travelling, scuba diving, skiing and tennis, and is regularly involved with community work including a children's charity.

Jatin qualified in 1979 and worked at several hospitals in Maxillofacial Surgery, obtaining his Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England.

He has an interest in Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry and has been placing dental implants for over twenty years. He accepts referrals and is involved in teaching and mentoring in Implant Dentistry.

Jatin has been a Postgraduate Tutor for Berkshire, has chaired the Local Dental Committee and is a past President of the Anglo Asian Odontological Society. He is a local parliamentary representative for the British Dental Association and an Accredited International Trainer for CEREC Technology.

Married with two grown-up children, he keeps active through trekking expeditions and is a keen golfer.

Sarah qualified as a dental hygienist and dental therapist from King's College Hospital. Prior to this she was a qualified Dental Nurse, and she brings over 23 years of experience within dentistry.

She has treated many nervous patients and ensures every treatment is delivered to the highest standard. Sarah attends regular courses to keep updated with the latest techniques and technology.

Her interests include walking with her dog, cuddles with her cat, and crafting personalised items for friends and family.

Patricia qualified from the University of Essex in 2023. Before that she began her dental career as a dental nurse in 2018.

She is passionate about educating patients on maintaining good oral health, making nervous patients feel at ease, and creating a positive patient experience at every visit.

In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, travelling, charity work, sewing and gardening.
